Father, i’m coming back!

Theme: Repentance

Scripture: Psalm 51:10 – ” Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

We fall short, but our mistakes don’t mean we have to run away from God. Repentance is an opportunity to turn back to Him, receive His grace, and begin again. Let’s pray!

Heavenly Father,

We give You all the glory, the praise and the honour. You are holy and You are worthy.

Father, I thank You for another day of serving You, even though I have fallen short. Your Word says, “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

Cleanse me, Lord. Wash me of all my wrong doing and remove anything within me that keeps me apart from You. Your love and Your grace are all I need, and I am so grateful that You have given me another chance to draw closer to You.

Let the Holy Spirit transform me. Let the Holy Spirit work within me and nudge me when I am doing wrong. Help me recognise Your conviction and have the strength to turn away from the things that are not of You. Let me feel Your presence, Lord, and help me desire You more than the things that once kept me away from You.

You are Yahweh, the I AM. You are Rapha, the Lord who heals. You are Shalom, the Lord of peace. You are Abba, my Father. You are the Most High God. You are everything and more.

So please, Lord, transform me. Purify my heart, renew my spirit and wash me white as snow.

I surrender myself to You.

In Jesus’ name we pray,

Amen. 🤍
